Mulled Cider recipe

This mulled cider recipe is perfect for a Christmas Eve gathering served with a selection of canapes.

You will need:

• 2 litres of good quality cider

• 4 tablespoons of caster sugar

• 6 cloves

• 1 cinnamon stick

• 3-star anise

• 1/4 ntmeg grated

• juice of 2 large oranges

• 2 clementines sliced

Put all the ingredients in a pan, bring to a boil, and then simmer. Serve hot in glass mugs.
